...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of west central
Franklin and east central St. Lawrence Counties through 415 PM EDT...
At 340 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lake Ozonia, moving southeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Moderate to locally heavy rain is falling in a slow-moving
shower where flooding was reported this morning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Ponding of water on road surfaces may lead to conditions
where hydroplaning could occur. Area creeks, streams, and
rivers are running faster than usual and may be approaching
thier banks. Any standing water that has not yet receded
may temporarily rise again due to new rainfall before
falling again.
Locations impacted include...
Lake Ozonia, Hopkinton, St. Regis Falls, Nicholville and Dickinson
Center.
