Beardsley Zoo kicks off campaign to reduce plastic waste

In an effort to reduce the amount of plastic waste, Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo announced that the Peacock Café has replaced its plastic straws with paper straws, and has replaced single-use plastic food containers and utensils with more sustainable options.
