The Devon Knights Rotary Basketball League has partnered with Hoopskills Basketball to offer four preseason skill development clinics in October.
The 90-minute sessions will be run at the Parsons Gymnasium every Saturday on Oct. 4, 11, 18 and 25. The skills clinics are for boys and girls 8-14 years old.
For players in grades 3-5, Beginner sessions will run from 9 to 10:30 am. Players in grades 6-9 must register for the Advanced sessions that will run from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost for each player is $80.
Hoopskills Basketball is directed by Joe Meade, who has more than 20 years of experience in both high school and college coaching. He is currently the Northeast Regional College Scout for the NBA’s Utah Jazz. His clinics focus on skill development through repetition and muscle memory.
The Devon Rotary Knights Basketball (DRKB) is run by Keith Rice. They offer youth basketball and travel team programs for Milford residents.
Applications can be picked up at the Milford Recreation Department office, located at 70 West River Street in Milford. For more information, go to DRKB.org.
The clinics will be limited to the first 60 enrollees for each age group. Payments can be dropped off at the Milford Recreation Department or you can pay online at hoopskillsbasketball.com. Family and team discounts are available.
