Rangers top Braves in Rookie League game

The Braves and the Rangers met in a late season Milford Junior Major League Rookie Division match up.

The Braves were led by William LeCuyer (2B/CF) and Michael Smith (SS/2B) defensively and at the plate by LeCuyer (2-3, triple), Smith (3-3), Kevin Chen, Matthew Sissick, James Cavallo and Ruby Moretti.

The Rangers were paced by Alex Rodriguez, Cal Wrigley, Jack Thomas and John Messore, as well as Aiden Hanks, Robert Baker, Matthew Berendt, Sean Luxeder, Brennan Ruane, Gabriel Santiago and Brady Sciuto en route to victory.

The game ball for the Braves was awarded to Matthew Sissick.
