In Junior Major League action, the Mustang Orioles defeated the Nationals 8-4.
The Orioles received great pitching from Devin Soracco,Brian Massey and Josh Baker.
The Nationals scored one run in the top of the first, but the Orioles responded with two runs in the bottom half with Soracco hitting a two-run double.
In the bottom of the second, the Orioles scored three more runs with Freddy Rosero starting the inning off with a single. Baker followed that up with another single.
In the fourth, the Orioles scored twice with Massey getting a clutch two-out hit.
The Nationals answered with a run in the fifth and two more in the sixth.
Leading the way offensively for the Orioles were Baker, Soracco and Massey with two hits each and Trevor Goodwin and Rosero with one hit each.
