The Milford Eagles Pee Wee cheerleading team is state champions. The Eagles competed in Springfield (Mass.) at the New England Pop Warner Regional Championship on Nov. 15. The Eagles have earned a bid for the third consecutive year to the Pop Warner Nationals in Disney World, where they will compete for a title the week of Dec. 7.
The team is guided by head coach Tanya Dana. Her assistants are Maryann Smith, Angela Paulus, Christina Smith, Ally German, Brittany Tobin, Andrea Feher, Brenda Dodd and Miranda Goncalves.
The cheer program is headed up by Leigh Torres and Deb Goncalves.
The team members are: Sophia Dana, Stefanie Feher, Tatum Gay, Ellie Hibson, Nicole Jones, Sarah Paulus, Aliya Prosser, Amanda Queiroz, Kailey Smith, Lauren Stroffolino and Marissa Turner.
