The Milford Eagles Junior Midgets football team defeated the New Fairfield Falcons, 30-12, on Sunday, Nov. 16, to win the Pop Warner state championship. They will play the Edgewood (R.I.) Eagles on Saturday, Nov. 22, in Cranston (R.I.) in the semifinals of the New England Regional championship. The Eagles defeated the Fairfield Giants, 16-0, on Sunday, Nov. 9, to win the Southern Connecticut Pop Warner championship.
