The Milford Recreation Department is accepting registration for its fast-pitch softball clinic at the Recreation Office located in the Parsons Complex. Former Providence College head coach Dana Fulmer will be running the clinic.
Girls aged 6 to 15 years old may register for the week of July 21-25. The class will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wasson Softball Field.
Camp sessions are designed to improve the essential skills and techniques of fast-pitch softball; throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, base running, agility training and mental toughness.
In addition, campers will work on offensive and defensive strategies. Each camper will be placed into groups according to ability, thus to insure the best learning experience.
Classes will be held Monday through Friday and cost $180 per week or $185 for non-residents.
