Free play pickleball at Anderson courts
The Milford Recreation Department is continuing Free Play Pickleball, a racquet sport which combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis.
The sport is played on a court with the same dimensions as a doubles badminton court. The net is similar to tennis net, but is mounted two inches lower. The game is played with a hard paddle and a polymer smaller version of a wiffle ball.
Pickleball is offered on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Anderson Avenue Tennis Courts.
This six-week class will start on June 5 and ends July 10. All ages are welcome.
