The Milford Recreation Department, in conjunction with the Connecticut Aquatic Resource Education Program, is sponsoring a free class in crabbing.
The crabbing class will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Margaret Egan Center, room 159, at 35 Matthew St., off of Naugatuck Ave., Milford.
Crabbing is a family activity that is in full swing between August and September. Blue crabs are a tasty treat that have been enjoyed since colonial times.
