Zach White scored at the 15-second mark of overtime and coach Sal Follo’s Milford coop boys ice hockey team defeated New Milford, 3-2, at the Milford Ice Pavilion on Saturday.
Ben LaVallee and Jon DePascale had the assists, as the Indians improved to 9-6-1.
Noah Erickson stopped 27 shots by New Milford (13-4-1).
White, from Will Vitelli and Andrew Gobany, gave Milford a 1-0 lead on a power play goal at 4:26 of the first period.
White, again from LaVallee and Gobany, made it 2-0 in the second, before New Milford tied it at 2 going into the third period.
After a scoresless third frame, White ended things in the extra session.
