Foran High pole vaulters took first, second and third place to lead coach Pete Jambor’s Lions to a 10th-place finish at last week’s Class MM track and field meet.

Jared Hubler won the state title, as the senior cleared 13 feet 6 inches.

Junior Nick Costantini was the runner up also clearing 13-6 (Hubler made the height on his first attempt while Costantini needed two attempts).

Senior Kyle Stuart made 13 feet for third place to complete the sweep.

"In 35 years of coaching track, I have never seen a clean sweep of a specific event at a state championship meet,” Jambor said. “These guys have been dominating the competition all season and it has carried over to the postseason. All three are just amazing competitors"

Junior Caleb Tondora placed sixth in the high jump to advance to the State Open along with the three pole vaulters.
