The Jonathan Law softball team defeated previously unbeaten Hale Ray, 8-4, in Moodus on Saturday.

Coach Melanie’s Blude’s Eagles had 10 hits on the day and scored three runs in the first inning.

Law (1-4) led 4-0 after two and tallied four runs in the fifth.

The Little Noises (5-1) scored a run in the third and three in the sixth.

Megan Smith was 2-for-3  with a triple and three RBIs.

Gina Boccamazzo was 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI.

Kacy O'Connor had two doubles and two RBIs.

Carley Botten had a hit and RBI for Hale Ray.

Erin Harrigan pitched a five-hitter to get the victory.
