Jonathan Law’s Jessica Centore took home two titles and Kiara Smith one at the SCC Eastern Sectional girls track and field championships held in Woodbridge on Monday.

Centore won the 200 in 25.43 with Smith second in 26.41. Centore’s 58.88 was faster than Sheehan High’s Maddie Burns’s 1:00.59 in the 400. Smith won the 100 with a time of 12.52, ahead of Amity Regional’s Rachelle Hochman (12.98).

Coach Linwood Schulte’s team placed fourth overall behind Shelton High, Cheshire and Amity.

Olivia Steiner was second in the long jump at 17-02.

Law’s 4x100 relay team of Steiner, Centore, Holly Caldwell and Smith took second in 51:30.

Melanie Coleman was fourth in the triple jump (32-11) and 15th in the long jump (13-10.50).

Shawna Winters was sixth in the discus throw (86-03).

Kailee Frank, Grace Wooten, Lauren Paredes and Madison Jennings were sixth in the 4x800 relay (11:14.25).

Keala Hoff was eighth in the shot put (31-02.50).

Grant was eighth in the triple jump (30-11.50) and 12th in the 400 (1:05.19).

The 4x400 relay team of Coleman, Wooten, Bella Carroll and Rhea Grant placed eighth in 4:41.16.

Jennings was 11th in the 800-meter run (2:39).

Frank was 17th (2:42.28).

Alicia Paight was 12th in the javelin throw (77-00).

Tori Nabors was 14th in the javelin (74-05).

Paredes was 17th in the 1600-meter run (6:29).

Gianna Reyes was 17th in the 300 meter hurdles (55.70).
