Milford ties North Haven in boys hockey

The Milford co-op boys ice hockey team played North Haven High to a 2-2 draw on Wednesday.

David McLenithan, from Brandon Argyros, scored shorthanded at the 7:11 mark of the first period.

Andrew Gobany scored unassisted on a power play at 12:05 of the second period.

North Haven tied things in the third on goals from Jason St. Peter (1:09) and Tyler Luedee (2:35). Tyler Krol, C.J. Kenny and Josh Back had the assists.

Sean Rowland made 31 saves for Milford (10-9-1).

Andrew Graziano had 28 stops for North Haven (9-6-5).

North Haven moves on to play in the SCC Division II semifinals against top-seeded Branford High on Thursday at Bennett Rink in West Haven at 7:30 p.m.
