Milford defeats Amity, 2-1 in boys hockey

The Milford Indian boys ice hockey team defeated Amity High from Woodbridge, 2-1, in Milford on Saturday.

David McLenithan scored a goal at 10:15 of the first period to give coach Sal Follo’s squad the lead. Jarrod Butts had the assist.

Amity (1-3-1) tied things in the second period on Jeremy Cable’s goal from Kevin Ryan and Dalton Luciani at 4:26.

Milford (2-3) took the lead on Jacob Comeau’s goal at 9:40 of the final frame. Jonathan DePascale had the assists.

Sean Rowland had 26 saves for Milford. Tyler Johnston had 21 stops for the Spartans.
