Jonathan Law won its third consecutive football game with a 28-27 road victory over Guilford High in SCC play on Oct. 30.
Max German ran for 300 yards and three scores for coach Derrick Lewis’ Lawmen, who are now 3-4 overall and 1-1 in the SCC Division II West standings.
Guilford (2-6, 1-2) took a 7-0 lead before Giovanni Marzullo scored on a 6-yard run and Mick Murray’s first of four PAT’s tied the game.
German scored on runs of 74 and 11 yards to give Law a 21-7 lead at the half.
Guilford made it 21-14 after three quarters and pulled even in the final period.
German’s 23-yard touchdown run put Law in front 28-21. Guilford scored late, but failed on its two-point conversion try.
Law will host Branford High (2-5, 2-3 West) Friday at 7.
