Matt Capobianco, Shawn Reilly to compete

The 2014 Special Olympics USA Games, where 76 athletes and Unified Sports partners from Connecticut will be among 3,500 athletes from across the country coming together to compete, will be held June 14-21, at venues in and around the Princeton, NJ area.

Matt Capobianco from Milford will compete for Unified Soccer and Shawn Reilly in golf.

The event will showcase inspiring athletes with intellectual disabilities and promote the ideals of acceptance, inclusion and respect for all through sport.

Special Olympics Connecticut will also be holding a Training Camp for all members of Team Connecticut going to the Special Olympics USA Games on Saturday, April 26, in and around Ivoryton.
