Mark Robinson has stepped down as Jonathan Law football coach after 13 seasons.

“I have spent 13 years raising other peoples kids and I feel it is time to concentrate on raising mine,” Robinson related.

“My oldest daughter Chera is 14, a freshman in high school, and plays soccer. I want to make sure I am always there to support her and be there to experience her ups and downs.

“I am still going to be an active part for the players, running the weight room and helping any way I can.

“It just felt it was the right time for me and my family. Cause in the end, family is all that matters.”

Robinson’s best season came in 2007 when the Lawmen went 9-1, captured the Southern Connecticut Conference’s Division II West title, and just missed out on points for the state playoffs.
