The Foran High girls tennis team lost to Cheshire High, 6-1, on Monday. Cheshire is 3-4. Foran is 1-5.

Singles: Nadja Pejovic (C) defeated Gabi Verdura. 6-1, 6-0; Sara Bruce (C) defeated Sam Giesman-Ginter 6-0, 6-1; Durga Rathi (C) defeated Shemona Singh 6-1, 7-5 and Amanda Murray(C) defeated Val Pozdnyakova 6-1, 6-0.

Doubles: Anna Levinson and Naagma Timakondu (F) defeated Katie Freitag and Christy Freitag 6-3, 6-2; Ashley Tartaglia and Sidney Tomko (C) defeated Brianna Marchitto and Jill Raucci 6-1, 6-1 and Katherine Wang and Katie Lynch (C) defeated Jen Fugal and Kelly Triolo 5-7, 6-1, 6-0.
