Lawmen make states in boys soccer

The Jonathan Law boys soccer team qualified for the state tournament for the first time since the 2001 season, when coach Donato Piselli’s Lawmen defeated East Haven by a score of 6-1 in an SCC match on Oct. 16.

The Lawmen will visit Foran High today at 6:30 p.m.

Herbie Pritchard and Kevin Linn scored two goals each, as Law improved to 6-5-2 with the win over the Easties.

Antonio Guraj and Colby Brennan scored the other goals, and Jack Pincus-Coyle had three saves.

Jon Costa had two assists. Kris Guraj, Antonio Guraj, Pritchard and Brennan had one assist each.
