Lawmen lose to Gaels in season opener

The Jonathan Law boys basketball team lost its season opener to Shelton High, 83-43, at the James Richetelli Sr. Gymnasium on Wednesday night.

Shelton took a 16-10 lead after one quarter and extended it to 47-25 at the half, behind a balanced scoring attack.

Law was led by Dylan Vienneau with 10 points, Louis Birks with nine, Tariq Dawson with eight and Kevin Wall with six.
