Jonathan Law turned back Sheehan High from Wallingford, 35-34, in an SCC football scoring showcase in Milford on Friday.

Max German scored three touchdowns for coach Derrick Lewis’ Lawmen (2-4), who stopped a two-point conversion try that would have won the game for the Titans (0-7) on Giovanni Marzullo's interception in the end zone.

Tim Caldwell opened the scoring for Law with a 3-yard run in the second quarter and Mick Murray booted the point-after.

Sheehan took a 21-7 lead into the half, but Law closed within 21-19 after three quarters on touchdowns runs by Marzullo (2 yards) and German (30 yards).

German ran for a 2-yard score, and Marzullo the two-point conversion, to give Law a 27-21 lead.

The teams traded scores, with German running it in from 10 yards out and Caldwell accounting for the two-pointer and a 35-28 lead.

Sheehan’s Tyler Selmecki threw his third touchdown pass to make it 35-34, before Marzullo intercepted the conversion pass.
