Lawmen defeat Panthers in baseball

The Jonathan Law baseball team scored a 6-1 victory over Career High from New Haven on Wednesday.

Coach Greg Simler’s Lawmen gave up a first inning run and then scored two in the bottom of the frame. They tacked on three in the second and one in the fourth.

Kyle Frey pitched six shutout innings to finish his complete game win.

Evan Carollo drove in two runs.

Rob Griswold, Jeremiah Bravo and Frey each had RBIs.

Nick Catandella and Bravo had doubles to lead Law’s seven-hit attack.

Law will host Foran High on Saturday at 11 a.m.
