Lauralton Hall finished 14th at the SCC Championship Meet on Friday.
“We had some very good performances,” coach Ellis Gill said. “Our 4x800 relay team of Abigail Baisley, Carly Costikyan, Rachel Wywoda and Mary Feeney finished fourth with a time of 10:29.08, which earned them a medal. It was also the second fastest time in school history.
“In the 1000, Feeney ran a personal best 3:17.30. It not only improved her state qualifying time but the sixth-place finish earned a medal and points for the team.
“The sprint medley relay of Kiera Henry, Alani Burke, Kelly Hufnagel and Abigail Baisley took sixth place in a time of 4:42.46, which again medaled and gave the team points.
“Senior Margaret O’Connor finished her four-year indoor track career on a high note. She ran two events today, and ran a personal best for both. She ran an impressive 5:58.16 in the 1600 and then came back to PR again in the 3200 with a 13:49.74. It was her first time breaking 14 minutes.
“The 4x400 relay of Mary Feeney, Carly Costikyan, Kelly Hufnagel and Abigail Baisley ran a season-best time of 4:30.01 which was a fantastic end to the night.”
