Indians lose opener to Crusaders

The Milford Indians ice hockey team dropped its season opener to Trinity Catholic on Wednesday.

The host Crusaders took a 2-0 lead in the first period, before Brady Dennigan and Colin DiPisa tied the game on assists from Jarrod Butts.

Trinity took a 3-2 lead, but this time it was Brandon Argyros, from Tommy Sampson, who knotted the game at 12:47 of the second period.

Trinity scored with 30 seconds left in the canto and added a pair of goals in the final period.

Sean Rowland had 19 saves for the Indians.
