Giovanni Marzullo threw for two touchdowns and Joey Ziebell ran for two more, but it wasn’t enough for the Jonathan Law football team on Friday night, when visiting Guilford High defeated the Lawmen by a score of 63-28.

Law is 1-6; Guilford (4-4).

The game saw Guilford take a 28-21 lead into the half and then outscore Law 35-7 in the final two quarters.

Marzullo threw a seven-yard touchdown pass to Tim Maher and Mick Murray added the first of his three PATs for a 7-0 lead.

Guilford scored twice in the first period, before Ziebell found paydirt from two yards out to tie the game at 14.

The Indians’ Joe Nault ran for his third of five touchdowns to make it 21-14, but Ziebell, who rushed for 145 yards, answered back with a three-yard run.

Nault’s 23-yard run put Guilford on top for good and he added a one-yard run to open the third quarter.

Marzullo passed to Maher for a 20-yard touchdown before the Indians tacked on three more scores.
