The Jonathan Law girls soccer team qualified for the Class L state tournament on Wednesday night, posting a 1-0 win over Foran High at the DeVito Sports Complex.
"We're at a real solid point right now," Law coach J.D. Rhode said. "We have two games left and we have a chance to go for a winning record for the first time since the early 90s."
Catie Rice's unassisted goal with 9:05 left to play proved to be the game-winner, as Law punched its ticket to the state tournament for the first time since 2012.
The Eagles improved to 6-6-2, while Foran fell to 5-5-4.
Foran had previously qualified for the Class L tournament as well.
Lion keeper Madeline Mitchell made seven saves for Foran.
Gina DiFederico and Jillian Hall combined to make seven saves for Law.
