Girls soccer: Law Eagles defeat North Haven, 3-2

The Jonathan Law girls soccer team scored three goals in the second half to rally past North Haven, 3-2, on Monday.

Coach Jon Rhodes’ Eagles are now 4-5-2. North Haven is 5-7-1.

Catie Rice began the comeback from a 1-0 halftime deficit off an assist from Samara Thacker.

The tandem combined again on Law’s second goal, before switching places for the winner with Thacker finding the back of the net and Rice gaining the assist.

Kristen Lynch scored both North Haven goals.

Law’s Gina DiFederico and Morgan Taylor each made five saves.

North Haven’s Angela Sanzari had 16 saves.
