Girls lacrosse: Masuk edges Lady Lawmen in states
The Jonathan Law girls lacrosse team lost to Masuk High, 11-10, in a Class M state tournament first round match.
Coach Lynette Martinez’ seventh-seeded Lady Lawmen (12-5) trailed the 10th-seeded Panthers (12-5) by a score of 4-3 at the half.
Law’s Olivia Keator scored four goals with two assists.
Andria Torres had four assists and two goals.
Colleen Goodwin scored three goals and had an assist.
Erin Goodwin had a goal and Emily Tournas an assist.
Law’s Stella Patrick and Masuk’s Juliana Henry each had eight saves.
Gabby Beckett scored four goals for Masuk.
