Jonathan Law’s girls lacrosse team posted a 16-7 win over Sheehan High in the Class M state tournament on Tuesday.

The seventh-seeded Lady Lawmen (13-4) will play at second-seeded Pomperaug High (15-2) on Thursday in Southbury at 5 p.m.

Olivia Keator scored five goals and Erin Goodwin had four for Law, which took an 11-4 lead into the half.

Andria Torres scored three goals and added six assists.

Laura Dennigan had two goals,

Emily Tournas had three assists.

Bethany Edwards and Colleen Goodwin each had a goal.

Keator had two assists.

Stella Patrick made 12 saves.

Treva Carney had two goals for 10th-seeded Sheehan (9-8).
