The Jonathan Law girls basketball team defeated visiting Brookfield High, 66-60, in its opener on Wednesday.
Coach Dan Young’s Lady Lawmen fell behind 20-11 after one period, before they stormed in front 34-28 at the half.
The Bobcats used a 15-9 run in the third quarter to tie the game.
Law won the final period, 23-17, to earn the victory.
Fallon Andriolas scored 24 points, including a trio of 3-pointers and a 6-for-6 performance from the foul line.
Samara Thacker had 17 points, Cali Jolley 12, Colleen Goodwin seven and Erica Boehm added a basket.
Brookfield’s Jenna Joshi led all scorers with 29 points, including three 3-pointers.
Kaitlin Farias had 17 points.
