German, Holden pin in final match

The Jonathan Law wrestling team completed its dual match season on Wednesday, when Fairfield Prep won a 36-24 victory over the Lawmen.

Coach Matt Schoonmaker’s team will take a 17-17 overall record (3-2 in the SCC B Division) into the SCC Championships at Shelton High on Saturday. Prep is 10-6, 3-2 SCC B Division.

Law’s Max German (1:07 at 170 pounds) and Kurt Holden (49 seconds at 182 pounds) won by fall.

Earning decisions were Sean Berg (138 pounds), Mark Bluemer (145 pounds), Timothy Rebentisch (120 pounds) and Phil Manes (126 pounds).
