The Foran High wrestling team defeated Farmington, 38-26, in the finals of the Joe Beler Sr. Duals at Jonathan Law on Saturday.
Foran went 5-0 on the day to improve its record to 7-0 on the season and Lion coach Dave Esposito was presented with the Outstanding Coach Award.
Farmington was second, Waterford third and Masuk High from Monroe fourth.
Law coach Matt Schoonmaker earned his 200th career win with the Lawmen.
Stratford High took home the Sportsmanship Award and Red Devil senior Mike LaPia (132 pounds) won his 100th match.
Gino Esposito (106 pounds), Ryan Luth (126), Luke Edmondson (heavyweight) and Jubilee Witte (132) all went 5-0 on the day to lead the Lions.
Tyler Geanacopolous (113) was 4-0 with two pins. Elijah Moretti (120) was 3-1. J.R. Pellegrino (138) was 1-1 with a pin. Patrick Fitzgerald (145) was 3-1 with three pins. Ronnie Gaul had a pin at 152. Qasim Khan was 2-3 with a pin. Noah Hubler (170) was 3-2 with two pins. Ricky Kratzer (182) was 4-1 with three pins. Nick McQuade (195) was 2-3 with a pin. Zack Cardellicho (220) was 3-2 with a pin. Will Mauro had a win at 106.
