Coach Frank Peters’ Foran High wrestling team defeated Shelton High, 51-22, in a key SCC A Division match in Milford on Wednesday.
The Lions improved to 16-5 overall and 2-1 in the division.
Posting pins were Zach Hubler (4:35 at 195 pounds), Luke Edmondson (3:48 at heavyweight), Jubilee Witte (3:01 at 132), Patrick Fitzgerald (1:01 at 138), and Cristian Woodford (2:33 at 182).
Gino Esposito (106) won by 19-3 technical fall, Jacob Poulioy (113) by 13-8 decision and Ben Croll (220) by 5-1 decision.
