Foran High defeats Jonathan Law in boys lacrosse

The Foran High boys lacrosse team broke out to a 6-0 lead after one period and defeated Jonathan Law, 18-8, on May 21.

Coach Mike Forget’s Lawmen played the Lions level at 4-4 in the second quarter, before coach Brian Adkins’ Foran squad won the final two frames, 4-1 and 4-3.

Jonathan DePascale and Zach White had three goals each for the Lions (10-5). Alex Eager, Drew Perani and Paul Mirmina scored two goals each. Will Vitelli, David McLenithan, Liam Oliver and Sal Rosa also scored. DePascale had five assists. Dan Rivera had two and Eager, Persani, White, Vitelli and Mirmina one apiece.

David Patrick scored three goals for Law (0-16). Tyler Cavallaro had two goals and Jason Savisky, Nick Art and Austin Fratello one each. Patrick, Art and Sean Lonengan had assists.

Foran’s Josh Teller made eight saves and Law’s Paul Johnson stopped 21 shots.
