The Foran High football team defeated Hamden High, 22-8, in Milford on Friday.
Coach Jeff Bevino’s Lions improved to 2-2. Hamden dipped to 1-3.
Brett Huber scored a pair of touchdowns to stake Foran to a 16-0 lead at the half.
Huber opened the scoring by catching a 5-yard touchdown pass from Lance DiNatale in the first period. Zach Cleary caught the two-point conversion pass.
Huber bucked over from 5-yards out in the second quarter, then ran for the two-point conversion.
DiNatale ran for a 5-yard TD in the third quarter.
Hamden’s Virgill Harrell threw a touchdown pass to Josh Marshak in the final period, who then ran for the conversion.
