
Fallon Bevino from Foran High was selected as the Southern Connecticut Conference’s MVP for softball.
A senior, Bevino batted .581 and her 44 hits accounted for 35 RBIs. She had seven home runs, two triples, 15 doubles and scored 20 runs for the Lions.
Her on-base percentage was .607 and she had a slugging percentage of 1.090.
Bevino, who will play for Kutztown State (Pa.) in the fall, finished her four-year career with 158 hits, a .465 batting average and 120 RBIs.
During her stay playing for her dad Jeff, Bevino’s Lions captured one state title, one Southern Connecticut Conference championship and compiled a 81-22 record.
