Jonathan Law’s girls cross country team placed 13th at the Southern Connecticut Conference Championships on the 5K (3.1 mile) course at East Shore Park in New Haven on Thursday.

Laura Dennigan, with a time of 22:41 good for 44th overall, was first across for coach Linwood Schulte’s team.

Kaylee Brotherton was 51st (23:01) and Irmina Chrzastek 69th (23:45).

Jordyn Konlian was 80th (24:18) and Chloe McCullough 88th (24:42).

Samantha Franzman was 90th (24:49) and Cassandra Sida 104th (25:57).

In the freshman race, Sarah Paulus was sixth in 24:43 and Hanna Pacelli eighth.
