The Lauralton Hall swimming and diving team defeated Joel Barlow of Redding, 109-71, in a meet at Western Connecticut State University on Sept. 17.

Mary Spillane (200 and 500 freestyle), Meghan Collins (200 IM and 100 breaststroke) and Haleigh McLaughlin (50 freestyle and 100 butterfly) were double winners, as coach Fran Pfeiffer’s Crusaders improved to 2-0 on the season.

Kaitlyn Joy won the 100 freestyle, while Olivia Parise was best in diving.

Joy, Collins, McLaughln and Autumn Katz were first in the 200 medley relay.

Katz, Audrey O’Donnell, McLaughlin and Kathleen Brennan won the 200 freestyle relay.

Ambur Sheffield, Shannon Buttling, O’Donnell and Brennan took the 400 freestyle relay.
