
Julia Astram out of Foran High plays attack as a freshman for the DeSales University (Pa.) women’s lacrosse team.
Astram was selected second-team All-Middle Atlantic Conference by league coaches after she finished the season as DSU’s leading scorer with 31 goals and four assists for 35 points.
Her 31 goals broke the DSU single-season record.
Coach Rachel Smith’s Bulldogs finished the Division III season with a 5-10 record in its second year.
Astram, a medical studies major, was a two-time MVP and a team captain while playing both basketball and lacrosse at Foran High.
She was a Southern Connecticut Conference Scholar-Athlete in 2017 and was a three-time member of the All-SCC Academic team.
