Boys track: Foran Lions dominate field events

The Foran High boys track team took on Hillhouse High, with coach Pete Jambor's Lions winning 83-56.

Anthony Labozzo was first in the 100-meter run in a time of 11:20 for Foran (4-5-1). He placed third in the 200.

Evan Meyer was second in the 100.

Chris Connor won the 110 hurdles in 18:49 and was second in the 300 hurdles.

Nick Dana was second in the 110 and third in the 300.

Cedrick Lingane took first in the javelin (119-1) and the shot put (39-7).

Jerry Edmond was first in the 800 (2:05.50).

Marcelo Riberio was second in the javelin.

Andre Vella was second in the shot put and third in the javelin.

Kyle Stuart won the pole vault (10-6). Nick Constantini was second and Austin Clinton third.

Jack Ardrey (4:43.80) led a Lion sweep in the 1600. Kevin Preneta was second and Ethan Jorgenson third.

Prenetta was first in the 3200 (10:54), followed by Ardrewy and Ryan Griffin.

Caleb Tondora was third in the 400 and the triple jump.

Thomas Kuryla was third in the long jump.

Ryan Michaelson was third in the shot put.

Pierce Klein was second in the high jump.
