The Foran High’s boys swimming team defeated the host Bunnell-Stratford co-op, 70-47, at Flood Middle School on Thursday.

Foran recorded fastest times in all but one event in which the team competed. Individual standouts included Sean Morton winning the 200 yard freestyle event in a time of 2:01.35, Drew Corsi with the fastest time in the 200 individual medley (2:17.59), Conor Quinn sprinting to first place in the 50 free in 24.90, Ethan Skuches with the best time in the 100 butterfly (1:05.89), Corsi winning the 100 free in 54.49, Quinn with the fastest time in the 100 backstroke (1:04.48), and Skuches with the best time in the 100 breaststroke (1:09.97).

Bunnell-Stratford’s Scott Detuzzi was first in the 500 free with a 5:34.08. John Blashke was second in the 200 free, making his final touch in 2:02.40. Jack Ferrara was runner-up in the 50 free in 25.72. Joe Robles had the second-fastest time in the 100 fly, finishing in 1:09.10. Blashke was second in the 100 free in 54.88. Detuzzi had the second-best time in the 100 back (1:08.79).
