Boys soccer: Jonathan Law wins 4-1 to make states

The Jonathan Law boys soccer team qualified for states with a 4-1 win over East Haven on Saturday.

Kevin Linn scored  his 15th goal of the season in the second minute, off a feed from Will Contaxis.

Four minutes later,  Linn repaid the favor with a beautiful assist to Contaxis that he buried past Douglas Comesnas of East Haven.

Dennis Sweeney scored the third goal for Law in the 22nd minute off an assist from Sean Theisen.

Comesnas made many huge saves in the first half to keep East Haven in the game.

Kris Gjuraj opened up the second half scoring for Law with an assist from Contaxis.

East Haven scored a goal with two minutes left to bring the score to 4-1.

Jack Pincus Coyle had three saves for Law and Tim Hanna had eight.
