Jonathan Law held Xavier High to seven points in the middle two periods when the Lawmen defeated the Falcons, 40-36, in Middletown on Tuesday.
Coach Jamie Anderson’s Lawmen are now 11-0. Xavier is 6-6.
Law trailed 14-8 after one quarter, but used a 10-1 advantage in the second to take an 18-15 lead into the half.
Law won the third period, 6-5 and the SCC rivals played the final frame even.
Diontae Eady had 17 points and Antonio Brown eight.
Marcus Williams led Xavier with nine points.
