Three Lee grads will compete in the 2022 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament when it gets underway on Friday.

Junior designated hitter Ty Coleman and junior pitcher Bo Blessie, both Lee grads playing for Texas Tech, will take the diamond when the Red Raiders (37-20) meet Notre Dame (35-14) in the Statesboro Regional at 1 p.m. Friday in Statesboro, Georgia. The game will be televised on ACC Network.

Coleman, who was an honorable mention all-conference selection, has hit .310 with eight home runs, 59 RBI, 14 doubles, 37 runs scored and a .848 OPS in 210 at-bats for Texas Tech this season.

Lee grad and senior outfielder John Wuthrich will be suiting up for Texas State (45-12) when it meets UC Santa Barbara (43-12) in the Stanford Regional at 8 p.m. Friday in Stanford, California.

Wuthrich, an all-conference second team honoree in the Sun Belt Conference, has batted .276 with 14 home runs, 44 RBI, 50 runs scored and an .884 OPS in 228 at-bats for the Bobcats this season.

Former Midland College player Cameron Dayton is a pitcher/first baseman for Texas (42-19), which hosts Air Force (30-27) in the Austin Regional at 1 p.m. Friday on Longhorn Network.
