Nate Huebner and Xavier Douglas each won a pair of individual events when the Foran boys\u2019 track improved to 6-1 after a tri-meet with Hamden and Lyman Hall. Huebner was first in the 110 high hurdles, the 300 intermediate hurdles and was part of the winning 4x400 relay with Joe DeFreitas, Basit Iddriss and Jonathan Lahov. Douglas topped the field in the triple jump and long jump. Also earning firsts for coach Pete Jambor\u2019s Lions were David Grant Eckhart (high jump), Max Newton (pole vault), Iddriss (800), Barry Held (discus), Damon Downs (3200), Tony Perez (javelin), Dan Thanas (shot put) and DeFreitas (400). Foran earlier defeated Career and West Haven. Ian Eisenman was first in the discus, AJ Edmond high jump, Iddriss 3200, Thanas shot put, Huebner, 110 high hurdles, Douglas triple jump, Newton pole vault and DeFreitas 400. In Foran\u2019s win against West Haven, Iddriss won the 400 and 200, Huebner the 110 and 300 hurdles, Will LeCuyer javelin, Thanas, shot put, Grant-Eckhart long jump, Douglas triple jump, Newton pole vault and Luke Cruz discus. Downs won the 800, 1600 and 3200 in a quad with Law, Hillhouse and Shelton. Other top placers were Huebner (100, 300 hurdles), Daniel Enrico (triple jump), Grant-Eckhart (long jump), Eisenman (discus) and Iddriss (400).
