Law's Claire Moulton second at Neubauer cross country

Jonathan Law girls’ cross country sophomore Claire Moulton placed second at the 32nd annual Neubauer Invitational in Wallingford.

Moulton’s time of 2:21.10 for the 5000-meter course was second to Lauralton Hall’s Kelly Jones (20:27) in the field of 60 varsity runners.

Law (113) placed third in team scoring behind Portland (66) and East Hampton (80).

Freshman Sydney Kirby was 11th in 22:33.70 for coach Linwood Schulte’s Lady Lawmen.

Seniors took the next three spots. Lauren Davis was 31st in 24:47.50, Jenna Wasserman 34th in 25:01.40, and Allison Gacchi 38th in 25:36.50).

Junior Maya Rosado placed 42nd with a time of 26:00.50.
