Law girls basketball defeats Foran in regular season finale

Jonathan Law traveled to Foran to close the SCC regular season and earned a 52-27 decision in girls’ basketball on Monday.

Law (7-5) is seeded seventh in Division I and will host No. 10 Hillhouse on Wednesday at 6. With a win, it will play at No. 2 seed Daniel Hand on Friday at 6 p.m.

Foran (3-9) is seeded sixth in Division II. It will visit No. 3 North Haven Friday at 6.

Lauralton Hall, seeded 9th, travels to play No. 8 seed Career Magnet on Wednesday at 6:30. With a win, it will visit No. 1 seed Sacred Heart Academy in the quarterfinals on Friday at 6 p.m.

Law’s Katie Konareski and Maddie Lula each scored 13 points for coach Dan Young.

Foran’s Courtney Musante had 13 points for coach Bob Asmussen.
