Law defeats Career-Hillhouse in boys soccer

Marcus Dostal and Lex Edwards each scored two goals when Jonathan Law defeated Career-Hillhouse 5-0 in an SCC boys’ soccer game in Milford on Saturday.

“Jackson Wartersm Michael Montes, Mason Turner, Thomas Bretthauer and Dom Baldino all did a great job defending and helping Jaden Wywoda (two saves) with the shutout,” Law coach Mike Gruber said.

Luke Henricksen fed a through ball to Dostal in the first half for a 1-0 lead.

Five minutes later Edwards scored his first goal assisted by Dostal.

Ryan Dimuro found Dostal, who beat a defender, to give Law a 3-0 halftime lead.

Law controlled the second half with possession and scored at the 49-minute mark when Edwards got the ball to Cooper Fitzgerald, who found the back of the net from 28 yards out.

Edwards made it 5-0 in the 54th minute off a pass from Eliot Melger.
